Assistant Manager - Salary negotiable based on experience - Live in Accommodation Available

Reporting directly to the General Manager this role you will predominately be involved in managing the food and beverage operation within the property whilst performing duty management shifts and will be involved in overseeing the day to day operation of the hotel in the absence of the Manager.
This will include making certain that any guest challenges are dealt with proficiently and with continuity, ensuring all guests are given a warm welcome and personal attention throughout their stay and to ensure the safe running of the hotel.
The role will include working shifts patterns including split shifts.  Essential requirements from candidates include - Pub/small hotel experience, Duty Management experience is essential and a strong management experience in Food & Beverage including events.
This is very much a hands-on role and will involve actually service and waiting at tables as well as managing the staff and operation.
Sous Chef £20,000 - £24,000 per annum

A great opportunity for a Sous Chef with hotel experience looking to gain additional responsibility within this small brigade.  Successful candidate must have the ability and desire to work with fresh food to produce consistent high quality freshly prepared food and prior banqueting experience.

This role may suit someone looking for their first Sous Chef role but they must have the ability to manage the kitchen in the absence of the Head Chef.  Responsibilities include ordering, taking food stocks, ensuring hygiene best practice is followed at all times and assisting with development of menus, controlling of GPs etc.
